SKĐS – Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced that starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, the number of students studying at the Hoa Lac University Urban Area is expected to increase 2.5 times compared to the current figure, reaching approximately 15,000 students.

The most notable new development in this roadmap is the first-ever presence of students from the University of Science. According to the plan, around 900 freshmen from the university, accounting for nearly 40% of all first-year students, will officially begin their university journey at the campus located 35 km from central Hanoi.

In addition, the list of institutions conducting training programs there will also include the Vietnam Japan University, the University of Law, the University of Engineering and Technology, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the University of Education, as well as units such as the International School and the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts.
